My name is Laura, and I’m a parent of small kids who finds it VERY HARD to go out and do all the political things I want to do. So I made this site to try and make it easier for people like me to find a way to fit political activism into their lives/schedules.

I have been adding groups and events as I become aware of them, but please do send me any suggestions you have as I know the site is not yet comprehensive.

My current criteria for groups to include:

Political action groups located in Durham NC or North Carolina generally that connect with their members (ex: newsletters, meetings) and/or host events (ex: trainings, protests, canvassing), which aim to promote a progressive agenda OR work to oppose the Trump’s administration’s attacks on our constitution, civil rights, important institutions, etc.
